Hi, I'm Tiff Hall, and I'm the Art Champ!

Welcome! I'm Tiff Hall.

I’m a very famous artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, where I'm usually found playing with color and creating vibrant, abstract interpretations of the world around me. I also enjoy some hecking sketching. Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

My art journey started simply: I wanted to fill my own walls with paintings of dinosaurs, then the view of the beautiful Walterdale Bridge from my apartment window. The problem? I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So, I decided to make it myself. Now I want to help you do the same.

My Philosophy: Fun over Photo Realism

I put everything I see through what I call my "absurd little filter." This means I take everyday scenes, like a bridge at sunset, and simplify them into joyful, expressive colors and shapes. It's about finding the fun, the bold, and the unexpected beauty in everyday life. My style is all about vibrant hues, "gloopy globs of paint," and "expressive chicken scratch in ink."

I enjoy exploring the abstract—simplifying an image until it’s almost nonsense and reducing it to the most simple of shapes. If only life was this easy, am I right?

I want to express an emotion; I’m not concerned with photo realism (you have a phone in your purse for that). I’m here to share the feeling of watching the sunset and observing the colors. I want to distract you from boring adult life and take your imagination on a journey.

What do you see in that cluster of rhinestones up there? Do those beads look like a shiny cat? There are no wrong answers here, I didn’t make something specific for you to try to find. But I want to know what you did find…

When I'm not painting, I'm a busy working musician/performer and own my own entertainment company. I live with my pet bird, who I affectionately call "Dirty Birdy." I'm always pushing myself to learn, grow, and be bigger, badder, and bolder in all aspects of my life.

  • My collection of original paintings inspired by the Walterdale Bridge was featured in the exhibit “EDMONTON - The City” at the NOA Gallery, September 14 - October 2, 2024.

  • My Vintage Framed Sparkle Art was chosen to be showcased at The Next Act in Edmonton, Alberta, July - August 2025.
